    Christ Church and Burial Ground

    This church was the first parish of the Anglican Church in Pennsylvania, originally founded in 1695 and renovated in 1727. The burial grounds behind the church is the final resting place for many famous Americans, including Benjamin Franklin and four other signers of the Declaration of Independence.

    The Catherdral Building

    This large Romanesque cathedral was remodeled twice, in 1906 and 2002, and features a dramatic basilica dome. In addition to its everyday use as a cathedral, it also hosts artistic exhibitions throughout the year.

    Mother Bethel A.M.E. Church

    This church was built in 1792, and is the oldest continually-owned African-American piece of property in the United States. Artifacts from the 19th century and Civil War era are located in the church, as well as the tomb of Richard Allen, the church's founder.
