Cliveden of the National Trust Originally built between 1763-1767, the house was destroyed in 1777. The cause of the destruction was the 1777 Battle of Germantown. The home is now located on six acres and is furnished with 18th and 19th century artifacts. Items featured in the home are porcelain, paintings, documents and decorative art.
